  • The Keo farm is an investment grade, row-crop property in Lonoke County, Arkansas. The United States Department of Agriculture states there are 523.83 acres of tillable land of the 576+/- tax acres. The soils are excellent and allow a diverse crop mix of cotton, corn, rice, and soybean production. Approximately 472.69 cropland acres have been precision leveled to grade and the remaining 51.14 acres are landformed for irrigation purposes. Irrigation is provided by 5 irrigation wells and 2 relifts for the Tailwater Recovery System (TWRS) and surface water reservoir. The TWRS supplies the reservoir via a large relift that gravity feeds via underground pipe to the two zero-grade fields. According to FSA, the reservoir is 18.03 acres in size.

Corn, soybeans, and rice have been the dominant crops grown over the past 10 years on the farm. The 7-year average yield for rice is 189.85 dry bushels/acre, 196.75 dry bushels/acre for corn, and 65.46 bushels/acre for soybeans. In 2024, the farm has rice, cotton, and soybeans in production. It has been several years since the last cotton was grown on the farm but the soils are ideal for cotton production. The tenant is one of the best in the area and wants to be around for the foreseeable future. The farm lease expires at the end of 2024.
