Maroon Magnolia is one contiguous tract consisting of 1,961.60 +/- tax acres. The Farm Service Agency (FSA) states via the FSA-156EZ that there are 1,703.05 acres of tillable cropland and 10.25 acres enrolled in the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP). There are two reservoirs totaling 22 +/- acres of surface water. There is also a Tailwater Recovery System (TWRS) that supplies water to one of the reservoirs. A five-acre HQ site contains three grain bins, a house, and an open equipment shed.
Of the 1,713.3 acres of cropland, 1,706.87 acres are furrow irrigated via 13 irrigation wells. This is a highly improved property with 89% of the tillable acres being precision leveled to grade. The farm has strong production history of both rice and soybeans. The dominant crop type has been soybeans for the past four years with an average yield of 74.185 bushels/acre. The average rice yield for 2020-2021 was 191.36 bushels/acre.
